I’ve received some fun book mail recently and I wanted to share it with you. 🙂
First off is the first copy of An Amish Christmas Bakery, along with a sweet note from my editor, Becky Monds. She always takes the time to send a note when she mails me the first copy of my latest release, and I always appreciate it. Thank you, Becky!
An Amish Bakery releases on October 1, 2019, and is available for pre-order now.
Next up is the Advanced Reader Copy of The Innkeeper’s Bride. This is third book in the Amish Brides series, and as I’ve said before, I love the cover. The Innkeeper’s Bride releases January 14, 2020 and is also available for pre-order now.
Last but not least, large print copies are now available for The Farmer’s Bride. This is the second book in the Amish Bride’s series and released in June. As a former teacher of the visually impaired, I’m grateful that my books are in large print and audio. I usually read on my bed or in a chair in the living room. But, I do have to beautiful places that I love to read. Both are State Parks. The first one is at a picnic table near the marina at Codorus State Park. The other is under a pavillion at Samuel Sewis State Park. (Samuel Lewis Park is the highest point between York and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania. It looks over the Susquehanna River. The view is absolutely stunning!!)

When we built our dream home in the Ozarks almost 3 years ago, one of my main requests was a big front porch and a fireplace. We found a piece of property with the two original large stone fireplaces from the 1853 home still standing and a civil war rock fence across the front and back of the property. I fell in love! We designed the home with a fireplace in the living room and the other on the opposite end in our bedroom AND we had a 12 foot wide porch across the entire front of the house. As long as the weather is mild, I can sit on the front porch with the ceiling fans on and a glass of something cold if it gets too hot watching our daily critters that come to visit from birds to bobcats in between chapters. Love reading on my porch! When the weather turns nippy or winter sets in, then I love to be inside in front of one of the fireplaces with a mug of hot cocoa and a good book. Suits me fine because I’m an all weather reader and I have all kinds of weather covered with my favorite reading spots.
