I recently crocheted the three September blocks for my Blanket of Knowledge. I only did crochet because the knit blocks were a little too advanced for me. But it’s called the Blanket of Knowledge for a reason, and I plan to tackle those after I have more knitting experience.
The September blocks used a four double crochet popcorn stitch (also called Tulip Stitch) and front post double crochet. It’s difficult to capture the stitches in photos, but it’s made to look like there are offset tulips and stems.
As soon as my shoulder heals, I’ll be breaking out the October and November kits. I’m excited to see what’s inside!
I also have a Bear update—she’s doing great. Recently I found her in one of my bags:
She stayed in it for a while. It does look cozy.
