Welcome to the A Double Dose of Love Book Club discussion! For the next four days I’ll be posting one discussion question from the back of the novel. On Friday I’ll announce the four winners (one from each day). Answer the question in the comment section for a chance to win.
Amanda enjoys gardening, and Darla is happy when she is serving others. What activities do you participate in that make you happy and relaxed?
Definitely reading!! I also like to crochet and play board games with my family.
I am an avid reader since it is my main form of entertainment. I walk since I enjoy sunshine, warmth and my surroundings and I love spending time with my 4 grandchildren who give me much happiness and make life worthwhile.
I have two major hobbies that take up my time quite fully. I am a genealogist and spend hours every day, doing mine and helping others. It is very fulfilling putting families together with records and DNA. And I am a reader/blogger/reviewer and love doing that, which also takes lots of time. I have 4 grandchildren that live 2 houses away and spend as much time as possible with them! Each day I walk for about 1 1/2 hours and that is a special time for me as well.
I love to walk every day ,and then enjoy a good book!
gardening, reading and taking lots of pictures. This book sounds wonderful.
I love to read different Amish books. When the weather is nice I like to walk outside and read outside.
I like to be a service to others in need when I can. Reading a good Amish book. baking cookies, spending time with grand kids, nature walk when it is warm out side not cold.
Reading, your books of course 🙂 I have also started knitting which I like so far until I make a mistake. Sometimes I just like to sit outside and observe nature, the birds and trees and all the ways God’s creation works together so eloquently. It helps if I have a Coke Zero or coffee to sip on too!
One of things is reading..doing things for others and spending time with my family
I Love to garden, canning and I Love reading! And spending time with my family!
Reading and scrapbooking!
I love to teach, so to serve my students, in that way — I miss them SO MUCH!! I’ve been laid off now two times in a row in two different school districts since I was a Reading Specialist at both and the positions were federally-funded. When the funding gets cut, I’m the first to go. (Didn’t know that when I got my MEd so now I have lots of years in, am more expensive, and no one is letting go of their jobs due to the economy). Oh, and I’m single! So I keep trying to get back into the K-8 classroom again (district-paid), but to not avail thus far). Anyhoo, what else brings me joy besides #1: to TEACH?♀️ Number 2 would be baking and #3 would be reading and doing crafts. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!
