About A Double Dose of Love:
Prepare for a double dose of romance and fun in this first installment of the Amish Mail-Order Bride series when two sets of twins find love.
Amanda King has a string of broken relationships in her past, so when her identical twin sister, Darla, shows her an ad claiming the community of Birch Creek is teeming with eligible Amish bachelors, she tries to convince Darla men aren’t worth the trouble. But once Darla sets her mind on something, it’s hard to convince the eternally optimistic girl to change her mind. In order to make sure Darla stays out of trouble, Amanda reluctantly agrees to follow Darla to Birch Creek.
Zeb and Zeke Bontrager have always been known as the “handsome twins” in their Amish community. They’ve watched as several of their many siblings have stumbled into love, and they’re not having any of it. Besides, who is there to date in a community severely lacking in young women?
When Amanda and Darla arrive in Birch Creek, all of the carefully laid plans Zeb and Zeke had fly out the window as the four young people learn lessons about love, betrayal, and faith in this first installment of the Amish Mail-Order Bride series.

Phoebe is my favorite female in Written in Love. I feel bad for her for the way her aunt treats her but love the way she felt about Jalin. I love all of your characters in your books and I love reading everyone of them. Thankbyou for being you
vetobarscz@gmail.com. I love all your books so it’s hard to decide on just one.
Right now I am reading The Farmers Bride so I would say Martha!
My favorite female character is Moriah from A Man of His Word. She’s strong and loving. She will be an excellent mother.
Animal Schrock
Hi Kathleen my favorite character is Katherine from the book letters to Katie. I liked it how she realized that she needed to let God be in control of what happened in her life.
It’s hard to pick only one I love them all.
I read so many books I can’t remember characters’ names, but I don’t ever have just one favorite because a new one always lurks ahead.
I loved Sadie Schrock in A Reluctant Bride. I loved her quiet faithfulness and this was the first Amish book I read by Kathleen. It got me hooked! No pun intended on the hooking and a crochet link lol
I agree with Mary Hake. I am in love with Armish stories and all the characters are amazing and embellish the each story in their own way. Keep them coming.
Any of the strong willed women that take care of family and children. Especially those with special needs.
I like all the characters.
I’m new, but I do love reading about the Amish. Thanks for the chance.
Sadie Schrock
I have read lot of your books and had to think about that to see which was my fave. I would say it was Ellie, the blind girl from An Amish Cradle.
Hope this is way to enter. I love whatever one im reading at time.
I can’t remember which book I read. I read so many Amish books and pass them off to others to read. I just remember after reading a book by Kathleen, I started following her. I have so many books to read and most all are Amish. People laugh because I go to restaurants by myself (a recent widow) and always have a book in hand to read while I wait on my food and then want to sit and relax with a drink before I leave.
KATHLEEN YPU WRITE SUCH WONDERFUL BOO,S AND EACH ONE OF THEM HAVE SUCH DELIGHTFUL AND WONDERFUL CHARACTERS THAT IT IS HARD TO CHOOSE JUST ONE! THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIN A COPY OF DOUBLE DOSE OF LOVE AND THE CROCHETED MESH BAG. YOU DO SUCH BEAUTIFUL HANDIWORK
I love reading your books. I really liked Johanna from An Unbroken Heart because she had many obstacles to overcome after her accident. She finds courage and begins to see that God loves her. He doesn’t see her scars, only her heart.
My favorite female character is Abigail Schrock from The Amish of Birch Creek series.
I liked Ruby Glick because of her enthusiasm for life, and she just seemed real.
Leanna chupp. Love how she does things her own way. Then when Roman comes back. The just make a great couple.
Abigail Schrock in A Love Made New was my favorite. She had much to overcome and forgiveness was at the very top.
I love all of your books so this was hard to decide. I had to go with Cevilla Schalbach. I love how she is in so many of your books. She is a woman who finds love at an older age. But she never strays from her beliefs. She is witty and funny. I enjoy her banter with Delilah Stoll. I also loved reading the progression of her relationship with Richard. She lived him but didn’t leave the church for him. She helped so many couples find their soulmate. I was rooting for her and Richard the whole time.
I could never pick just one as my favorite. I love all your characters. Amish books make me feel good, they are so wholesome. Thanks for the chance.
Hannah Lynne
